Ritual of endurance for 2 dancers & 1 pianist
Ayelen Parolin invites us to a contemporary ritual with original music for piano played live by its composer Lea. Heretics is based on repetition and endurance around a leitmotiv: the “triangle” and its infinite variations. Heretics is an obsessive and mechanic trio that refers to the contemporary imperatives of effectiveness and profitability. While also, contradictorily, allowing the ‘essential force of being’ to thrive. The choreographer intends “to tackle not only a mathematical construction of movement, but also to challenge performers with complex geometric and precise gestures, oscillating between canon and unison in crescendo.
